BuildingGreen provides information designed to help building-industry professionals and policy makers improve the environmental performance and reduce the adverse impact of buildings.
Our work for BuildingGreen
We began working for BuildingGreen in the fall of 2000, and have been collaborating closely with them ever since. At that time, the firm was predominantly a desktop publishing operation and had some outstanding cd rom products as well. They needed a web-based 'supertool' that integrated articles with case studies of buildings with their outstanding product directory. Their current site is an example of what years of focused work can accomplish. We have been actively working on their site every year, and we maintain and support their software. In additon to the extranet you can see at the public site, we have also built a system for tracking orders and collaborated with BuildingGreen on numerous software development projects to promote Green Building. Our services include the design of a relational database and formatting of XML content for Web display, and the development of XSL, Java, Cold Fusion, SQL, Perl code. We also developed online credit card processing and provide hosting services for them.
